Great article on Japanese pro wrestling. I'm a huge fan of pro wrestling and run a site about the smaller regional wrestling in a section of the Midwest. A couple of guys that help with the site are huge Japanese wrestling fans.

The wrestling promotion run by Harley Race called World League Wrestling (WLW) is headquartered about an hour from my home, and they have a great working agreement with Japanese wrestling promotion Pro Wrestling NOAH. In fact, Go Shiozaki is the current WLW Heavyweight Champ. I just watched Kesuke Sasaki (NOAH Champ and Japanese wrestling legend) live on September 19th.

I'm adding this post to my "wrestling buzz" portion of my site. Great stuff!

Nice post, do you eat eggs for every breakfast? And is there any concern if you do? Cholesterol, etc?

I think the best place for instructional DVDs is those lazy times after training in the dojo, when you can watch it and try stuff out.
Sitting in front of your computer watching BJJ stuff is 90% a waste of time, in my opinion. However, you can pick up a few little pointers, for sure.
This is embarassing but a long time ago I actually got the most basic of points (to point the person's chin away from you when you are on top in half guard, to prevent them shrimping) from some instructional online. That is a major part of top control.
Sometimes I put them on in the background and do something else, trying to trick myself into subliminally picking up some BJJ tips...
